This is our very first Tri-State Charles River Laboratories Vigil with co-hosts A4 Animals Abolition Advocacy Action, New Haven Animal Save and Animal Rights New England

Locations: Willimantic, CT, Kingston, NY & Wilmington, MA

Please join us in a peaceful vigil and protest of CRL at all three locations. This coordinated event will send a direct message to the company letting them know there is a concerned public who demand immediate end of animal abuse, use and death.

We will hold peaceful protests/vigils with the focus on public awareness/education and sending a message to CRL asking them to change their business model.

Charles River Laboratories is the world’s largest breeder of animals for “research” experimentation. Half of all animals tortured and experimented on against their will are supplied by CRL. CRL is also the second largest importer of non-human primates into the US stolen from their homes in the wild or bred in disgusting facilities.

Business models/companies currently exist that don’t harm animals as does the technology #skinonachip #organonachip etc...

There is no reason for CRL to continue with their current business model especially with regard to current technologies. Unfortunately there is BIG $$$ in the breeding of animals for testing “research”.
Change the business model!

Animals are used in laboratories for 3 reasons. Supposed education, product testing, and experimental medical “research”. These 3 reasons bring absolutely no benefit to the animals themselves and largely fail when applied to human benefit. Information attained from torturing animals of differing species fails more often than not when applied to humans.
